We’re at Fortress Studios with Bolty mastering our sound piece for Grain, the audio art event that’s happening on the Isle of Grain the weekend after next. It’s been a strange journey making the piece, but really exciting to now be so close… and working with Bolty again is amazing. He worked on all the electronics for our Silent Sound machine. It’s going well, and pizza is on the way…

Our Silent Sound Machine has made the journey from Salford, Manchester to North London. Here it will be completed and tested, before travelling to Liverpool in time for the Silent Sound live performance on 14th September. To say we’re excited would be a chronic understatement. Look at this baby!

Just been setting up a MySpace page for our forthcoming Silent Sound project. We’ll try to keep it updated as much as possible. Also working on the web site for Silent Sound, which should be online in a couple of weeks.
If you pop over to the Silent Sound MySpace page there’s a little video in the blog of our Silent Sound machine being built, which we’re finding very exciting!

We’ve been working on translating our File under Sacred Music poster into Mandarin for an exhibition in China later this year curated by temporarycontemporary.
We got the print from the printmaker earlier today and we’re delighted with how it looks, he’s done a fantastic job. We’re just hoping the translation holds up and it all makes sense in China!
