DO YOU LOVE ME LIKE I LOVE YOU AT THE ROUNDHOUSE
On Saturday 14 May our film about the classic Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album The Boatman’s Call will premiere at the Roundhouse in London. The event is part of the Short Circuit festival, hosted by the Mute record label, and the screening will be followed by a Q&A with ourselves and the author and journalist Kris Needs.
The film is part of our ongoing series of 14 films, one to accompany each of the remastered and reissued Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds albums. This film features, among others, band members past and present, Blixa Bargeld, Mick Harvey, Warren Ellis and Thomas Wydler, photographers Bleddyn Butcher and Autumn de Wilde, authors Larry ‘Ratso’ Sloman, Ian Johnston and Matt Thorne and musicians including Gavin Friday, Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream, Beth Orton, Interpol’s Paul Banks and Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The two-day festival will feature performances and unique collaborations from Mute artists past, present and future alongside DJs, talks, workshops, screenings and installations.
Ticket information is available from the Roundhouse.
