Charade, at Impressions Gallery in York, looked to explore diverse notions of identity, fantasy and performance through four artists work. Exploding the idea of the 'authentic' spectacle, each artist plays with the conventions of live art, combining digital media and installation. Commissioned as part of the BBC's controversial Shooting Live Artists project, four works will be shown as part of SightSonic 2003, York's International Digital Arts Festival.
Charade featured
a large-scale installation of File
