A new gallery space dedicated to artists’ moving image opens at Tyneside Cinema with EDIT. The Gallery opens on 19th September and will present EDIT in the UK for the first time. The work, a collaboration with musician Joe McAlinden and screenwriter Martin McCardie, stars Kate Bracken (Being Human/Misfits) and received its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival earlier this year.

Alongside launching The Gallery, Tyneside Cinema will also present 20,000 Days on Earth. The programme is curated by Elisabetta Fabrizi. A free curator talk will take place in the gallery at 3pm on Saturday 27th September. Admission to The Gallery is free. To book tickets for 20,000 Days on Earth contact the Tyneside Cinema Box Office on 0845 217 9909. More info: www.tynesidecinema.co.uk/EDIT
